We upset it on our own Mumbai presses. The blank then goes through a controlled precipitation cycle. This forms the titanium and aluminium gamma-prime phase uniformly through the hub. It doesn't just form at the surface. Each aged blank is ultrasonically scanned before it moves to the CNC line.
